Implements a model that fosters analytical vision, proven in more than 50 universities worldwide, contributing a collaborative and integrative approach to address future challenges with excellence.
Offers valuable academic pathways for students, aligned with institutional objectives and the UDD Futuro educational project.
Graduates of the Philosophy, Politics, and Economics program are shaped by an interdisciplinary approach that enables them to critically analyze social, political, and economic events impacting decision-making in today’s world.
They stand out due to their analytical capacity and global mindset, capable of identifying key questions and issues relevant to any organization’s development, as well as their leadership, collaborative work, and academic excellence.
In addition to the UDD Futuro generic competencies integrated throughout the program, this degree aims to impart two specific competencies:
To earn the degree, students must pass all courses in the curriculum and complete a capstone academic activity, consisting of an academic essay written during the final semester of the degree.
No. As long as the UDD student completes the program within the standard duration of their original degree, the provisions of Title IX of the RAARP apply.
Only students from the UDD programs in Commercial Engineering, Law, Political Science, and Journalism. However, all UDD students may take the PPE Minor through CELE credits, which includes some courses from the degree.
The program is designed to integrate with the student’s home program curriculum, utilizing extracurricular formation options and B‑Learning instructional design to avoid schedule conflicts.
If the student withdraws and meets the minimum Minor requirements, they will receive a credential for the PPE Minor.

Applications are accepted during the second semester of each year. Students must complete an on‑site application form at Faro UDD to begin the review of academic records and requirements.
Results are published in December of each year.
The final academic activity involves preparing an academic essay during one of the 5th or 6th semester courses. This Capstone‑style activity follows the model used in American universities.
The dual degree enhances student profiles and sets them apart in the job market, while the development of analytical skills and critical thinking is essential for professional growth. The program is supported by a faculty of excellence and grants access to the Faro UDD Community, with opportunities for engagement, debate, and further training.
